ABUJA’S REAL LIFE IS RETURNING, CRIMINAL HIDEOUTS ARE DISAPPEARING — PRESIDENT TINUBU
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said that Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, is gradually returning to its original vision as a safe, organized, and modern city following ongoing efforts to restore order and improve security.
Speaking on the transformation taking place across the capital, President Tinubu noted that areas previously associated with illegal activities and criminal hideouts are being addressed as part of a broader plan to make Abuja more secure and attractive for residents, investors, and visitors.
According to the President, the changes represent a renewed commitment to protecting communities, improving infrastructure, and ensuring that the nation’s capital reflects the image of growth and development expected of a major African city.
He emphasized that the government will continue working with relevant authorities to strengthen security operations, remove threats to public safety, and create opportunities for peaceful living and economic activities.
