President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received a delegation from the African Minerals Strategy Group (AMSG), led by Nigeria’s Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Mr. Dele Alake, as discussions continue on strengthening Africa’s mineral resources sector.

The meeting focused on opportunities within the solid minerals industry, investment growth, and strategies aimed at improving the management and development of Africa’s natural resources.

Nigeria has continued to highlight the importance of the mining sector as part of efforts to diversify the economy, attract investment, and create more opportunities beyond traditional revenue sources.






The engagement with AMSG reflects ongoing conversations about collaboration among African nations to maximize the value of the continent’s mineral resources and support sustainable economic development.
